The Hindu temple of Sagar Shiv Mandir is located on l’Île aux Goyaviers, at Poste de Flacq in the eastern part of Mauritius. Very recent, it was built in 2007 by the Ghunowa family who invested millions of rupees in its development.
One of the Top 3 Hindu temples to see on the island, surrounding by the lagoon and the mangroves that give to the place a mystical aspect. A 33-metres high statue of Shiva guards the site.
