The most photopgraphed church in mauritius, the chapel with the red roof, Notre Dame Auxiliatrice, Cap Malheureux, is very famous. Probably one of the most well known photography spots in Mauritius: the little church with the red roof located in Cap Malheureux, on the north of the island, a 10 minutes drive from Grand Bay.
It is most northerly point of Mauritius and is where the British first landed before laying claim to the island in 1810
