Depending on your adventurous aptitude, fitness level, enthusiasm in doing exercise, having a rental car, you might want to change or reconsider some ideas I have put together. Feel free to add or remove stops as these plans should give you an overall idea of where some places are located and what you can do around it. Mauritius will reward you by even the smallest attempt at exploration. The aim is to help you plan your days more efficiently and pack more I’ve-been-there-moment during your holidays. Mind you, you can see all those places in 1 hour with a helicopter tour.

Trou aux Biches – Stop for a swim
Choisy- Stop for a swim
Grand Baie (come back after Cap malheureux to see the fishermen back and the fish market)
La Cuvette beach
Pereybere – Stop for a swim
Cap Malheureux – Visit the iconic red church
Come back to Trou aux Biches for the sunset
Village le Morne ( you will have some amazing street food in the area)
*if you fancy a seaplane flight, this is the place.

La Place du Moulin (There is an ATM in the Cafe)
Jardin de Telfair in Souillac
Natural bridge (The track to this place is very bad)

This will finish around 930 or 11 depending when you started.

Option 1 – Go to Le Morne and stay there
Option 2 – Visit Chamarel
Option 3 – Go to Casela for some fun activities
Visit the 7 waterfalls ( start at 0800 and finish at 11/1200)
Go to Grand Bassin

Port Louis (This can take all morning)
