Bois des Amourettes, translated as 'Lovers' Forest', is a peaceful and tiny village in the east of Mauritius.
The center of attraction of this village is its famous lovely jetty which was constructed during the naval war of Vieux Grand Port.
The beautiful jetty makes approximately 190 meters and from it you are able to see the amazing Ile au Phare, Ile de la Passe, Ile aux Aigrettes and some other little islands as well.
